Reduced rates
Who do you offer reduced rates to?
Current NHS / Frontline staff
Males aged 16/24 who may not be able to afford private therapy or are at risk due to long NHS waiting times
Individuals referred to us by partner organisations.
Why do you offer NHS staff reduced rates?
Having witnessed first hand, the enormous pressure that people working for the NHS have been under during the corona virus pandemic and the enormous personal and professional sacrifices that they made, one of our therapists, Lesley-Anne, wanted to ensure that therapy is accessible to the brave men and women of our NHS .
CBT sessions for NHS staff can be available in block bookings at a reduced rate.
Why do you offer reduced rates to young men?
One of our therapists, Kieran, understands the impact that male mental health can have on individuals and families. In Scotland, men are three times more likely to commit suicide than women and twice as likely to commit suicide than men south of the border.
Although we are not a crisis service, we will aim to see any young man that needs to speak to someone within 24 hours of contact. If you or a young man that you care about may need support, an ‘Introduction to CBT’ session can be booked free of charge with no obligation.
What organisations can refer people to you at reduced rates.
At the moment, we accept referrals from The Lanarkshire Counselling and CBT centre.
Why is there a waiting list for reduced rate clients?
Whilst we wish we could offer everyone who needs it, support immediately and at a price that they can afford, we do need to strike a balance which allows us to offer these reduced rates alongside full fee paying clients.
If you feel that you require immediate support we will do our best to support you by signposting you to additional support organisations, charities, crisis services and trusted organisations that may have availability.
